Arian Bloomfield named new Buildings Market Group Leader
Morrison-Maierle is pleased to announce the promotion of Arian Bloomfield, PE, as its new Buildings Market Group Leader. He will be responsible for the organization and business development of the company’s structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers throughout its 12 offices in Montana, Wyoming, Washington, and Arizona.
Bloomfield, who also holds certifications in LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) accredited Professional (LEED AP BD+C) and GG (Green Globes) will lead a staff of 35 across the firm from his home office in Missoula, Montana.
He came to Morrison-Maierle 10 years ago as a recent graduate of Montana State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He was first hired by the firm’s Kalispell office and then transferred to the Missoula office six years later and was the office’s first Buildings Market Group employee. His most recent position has been as the Missoula Office Market Group Leader.
As an electrical engineer, Bloomfield has a wide variety of experience in lighting, power distribution, fire detection and alarm, and controls systems for numerous public and private facilities. He is a member of the US Green Building (USGBC) Montana Chapter; IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers); and IES (Illuminating Engineering Society of North America).
A few of his recent projects include Missoula County Public Schools – Franklin and Lowell Elementary, University of Montana – Gilkey Center for Executive Education, and Old Fort Road Condominiums Development.
