Jason Millar joins Morrison-Maierle’s bridge engineering team
Morrison-Maierle is pleased to announce the hiring of Jason Millar, EI, in its Helena office. He is a bridge engineer who will be working on design, inspection, load rating, and other facets for the Transportation Market Group.
A native of Susanville, California, Jason has been working on projects for the Toston structures and U.S. Forest Service bridge inspections for Morrison-Maierle. A 2017 graduate of Oregon Tech with a BS and MS in civil engineering, Jason specializes in structural engineering, structural health monitoring, and bridge damage detection and modeling.
Before coming to Morrison-Maierle, he worked in the summers between college for the Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Susanville; Klamath Falls, Oregon; and Darby, Montana, in recreation, forestry, fire, and engineering.
When not at work, Jason enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fly-fishing, archery, mountain biking, hiking, and camping. He also plays and listens to music and spends time doing a wide variety of community service and events through his church.
