Two of Morrison-Maierle’s Water-Wastewater employees have recently received top honors for their work from the Montana Section of the American Water Works Association and the Montana Water Environment Association. Jeff Ashley, PE, the firm’s water-wastewater market group office leader in Helena is Montana’s recipient of the American Water Works Association’s George Warren Fuller Award while Steve Ruhd received the MSAWWA-MWEA Lifetime Achievement Award.

George Warren Fuller Awards are presented annually in each state to selected members for their distinguished service to the water supply field. Fuller (1868–1934), an international expert in civil engineering, was responsible for innovations in water and wastewater treatment. He designed and built the first modern water filtration plant and chlorination system that disinfected drinking water in the United States.
