Morrison-Maierle, Inc. has opportunities in our Bozeman and Missoula, Montana office for Entry, Mid, and Senior Electrical Engineers.



Morrison-Maierle is recruiting to fill Electrical Engineering positions.

Project Types:  Higher Education, Municipal, Healthcare, Airports, Government, Hospitality.

Design of Power Plans:  receptacle and HVAC and owner equipment power connections, main electrical equipment room layouts, 1-line diagrams, emergency generator and Uninterruptible Power Systems.  Panel and Equipment Schedules.  Design of Lighting Plans:  light fixture layouts, lighting calculations, photometric lighting analysis, lighting controls.  Design of Systems Plans:  fire alarm, voice / data, security, paging and public address systems.

Coordination of REVIT model / ceilings and backgrounds with architect, and responses to Request For Information from the contractors.  Assembly and editing of construction specifications.  Drafting of As-Built drawings for record.

Tasks may also include load calculations, site inspections and punch lists, email and inter-office memorandum, submittal review, and design and construction meetings with owner’s, architects, and contractors.

Senior Electrical Engineer:  This position will provide a rewarding opportunity for a person driven to exceed client and firm expectations in the areas of:  managing budgets, schedules and deliverables; undertaking the technical work associated with electrical engineering design; leading business development pursuits; leading, and managing and mentoring junior engineers.  Project management, client service and team leadership skills are fundamental to the firm’s daily environment.

Entry to Mid-level Electrical Engineer:  Duties will include working under the direction of the Project Manager and Phase Managers in the execution of project related duties.



 Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Entry Level:  0 to 3 years’ experience in the Architectural Engineering industry.  Engineer Intern certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Mid-Level:  Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Architectural Engineering industry.  A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.

Senior Level:  Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Architectural Engineering industry.  A professional engineering (PE) license is required.

REVIT and AutoCAD a plus; proficiency with REVIT.  Experience with AGI lighting software, Excel and Word are also a plus.

Must be team oriented and be excited to work in the A/E industry.  High level communications skills are required, both written and verbal.  A positive attitude and willingness to learn and work hard for overall project success are imperative.  Strong organizational skills and aptitude for detail are essential.
