Kolter Kukes accepts position with Morrison-Maierle Bozeman office
Kolter Kukes, EI, has recently been hired by Morrison-Maierle’s Bozeman office. As a member of the Development Market Group, he is the concrete and compaction tester for all residential properties in Yellowstone Club and Spanish Peaks Resort. He is also been the primary concrete and fireproofing tester as well as rebar inspector at Village Core project within Yellowstone Club. Kolter’s summer projects involve working in South Dakota to perform road analysis and inspection for the Keystone Pipeline and in Eastern Montana for testing and inspection on haul road construction for the Keystone Pipeline.
A native of Laurel, Montana, Kolter received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Carroll College in 2016. His certifications include an ACI Grade 1 and Nuclear Gauge Safety Certification.
When not at work, Kolter enjoys football, baseball, basketball, tennis, wrestling. He also enjoys small-time investing, hunting, fishing, and going to Colorado Rockies and Denver Bronco games. His charity work includes spending a week on the west side of Chicago serving and volunteering with a group of 15 others. The whole week was dedicated to serving the poor and homeless, and spent one-on-one time with the kids of the local YMCA.
Kolter’s family includes his father, Rob who is a full-time geotechnical engineer and farmer and rancher; his mom, Kelly, who owns a small business and works as a mental health therapist; and his brother, Karson, who works for Montana Rail Link.
