Matt Gagnon joins Morrison-Maierle Bozeman office
Matt Gagnon, EI, has joined Morrison-Maierle’s Bozeman office on a full-time basis. His work consists mostly of “onsite” work where he works with contractors and owners to help assist in the construction process and make sure that whatever Morrison-Maierle is inspecting and testing is being installed per the engineer’s or owner’s requests.
A native of Bozeman, Matt received his B.S. in civil engineering from Montana State University in 2017. He works in many facets of the firm including serving as a Resident Project Representative, inspection of utility installations, steel reinforcements and development construction sites, material testing (concrete, soils, asphalt, etc.), and will continue to assist with Auto Cad work when needed.
Matt worked at Precision Inc. for four years before his internship at Morrison-Maierle where he was a project foreman and primary welder.
When not at work, Matt says “hunting is by far my largest hobby. I like to hunt as much as possible and have been fortunate enough to travel to Alaska to hunt a couple of times.”
As an avid outdoorsman, he also likes target shooting, reloading, horseback riding, pack trips, fishing, and spending as much time as possible in the mountains.
