Rebecca Scheetz joins structural engineering team in Bozeman office
Rebecca Scheetz has joined the Morrison-Maierle Buildings Market Group as a structural engineer intern (EIT) in its Bozeman office. She will be working on several structural design projects like airports, municipal, academic, recreational, industrial and office buildings.
A native of Spearfish, South Dakota, near the Black Hills, she earned her B.S. and M.S. at the University of Colorado Boulder. She took a concurrent bachelor’s-master’s track in civil engineering and graduated in the summer of 2017. Rebecca’s undergraduate emphasis was geotechnical engineering, and graduate studies were primarily focused in structural and geotechnical engineering.
Prior to working for Morrison-Maierle, she worked as a research assistant and also for the Celestial Seasonings Café in the engineering center on the CU campus.
When not at work, Becca likes to spend her days off outside hiking, skiing, camping or backpacking. She also likes going to live music, reading books, listening to podcasts and making jewelry.
She is the youngest of three and her family is scattered across the West in South Dakota, Colorado and Kansas. Becca’s “Montana family” consists of her partner, Tom, and their dingo-daughter, Supai.
