Todd Johnson joins Morrison-Maierle Phoenix office
Morrison-Maierle’s Phoenix office has recently hired Todd Johnson as a CAD technician. He will assist with all Phoenix project engineering drawings to include proposals, construction drawings, redline changes, and final record drawings. He is also a FAA Airports GIS Subject Matter Expert (SME).
A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, he grew up in Prior Lake, Minnesota. He graduated from Park University in June 2018 with a B.S. in computer information systems management. Prior to Morrison-Maierle, he was a self-employed consultant to engineering firms for airport construction and design projects, airspace analysis, and instrument flight procedure design for both national (FAA) and international (ICAO) airports and heliports. He was an FAA Airports GIS SME on several projects, and performed obstacle impact evaluations for several cell tower and hotel companies. He is a retired USAF Master Sergeant with 22-year active duty an air traffic controller and terminal instrument procedure designer.
Outside of work Todd’s hobbies include guns, reloading ammunition, online computer games, designing/building clocks, and hiking. He and his wife, Lesley, will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary this summer. They have two children and two cats. Todd is also pursuing a civil engineering degree at Arizona State University.
