Aaron McConkey named new water-wastewater leader in Missoula office
Morrison-Maierle is pleased to announce that Aaron McConkey is the new Market Group Office Leader for the Water -Wastewater group in its Missoula location.
Aaron came to Morrison-Maierle’s Kalispell office in 2015 after working for the City of Kalispell Public Works Department as a project manager for three years and for Schwarz Engineering for seven years before then. While at Morrison-Maierle he has been a project engineer and design engineer for projects in Hot Springs, Bigfork, Kalispell, Libby and others.
He graduated from Montana State University in 2005 with a B.S. in civil engineering. He has a broad range of civil and municipal engineering design and analysis experience including water, wastewater, stormwater, grading, transportation, construction administration, inspection and testing.
As an employee-owner, Aaron says ownership “is a great way for us to express our commitment to the company,” because “it’s each individual’s contribution that builds the strength and character of the company as a whole.”
Aaron says he and his wife, Alisa, are a “split family”—a Grizzly and a Bobcat. They, along with their new little one, Bennett—who is almost four months old—are looking forward to moving into their new home in Missoula. When not unpacking boxes, they hope to explore southwest Montana on camping and hiking adventures this summer, similar to previous trips in the Swan Valley.
