Carl Anderson and Jill Cook promoted to new leadership positions
Morrison-Maierle and its employee owners are pleased to announce two recent leadership promotions.
Carl Anderson, PE, Morrison-Maierle’s longtime Billings Operations Manager has recently be named the company’s Chief Operations Officer. Anderson replaces Bob Morrison, PE, who is stepping down as interim COO and will continue as a project engineer in the Water-Wastewater Market Group. Jill Cook, PE, will take over Anderson’s responsibilities as Morrison-Maierle’s Billings Operations Manager.
In his new role, Carl will oversee all Morrison-Maierle’s operations throughout its 12 offices. He will continue to be based in Billings.
Carl began his Morrison-Maierle career in 2004 as the Billings Operations Manager, became a vice president in 2006, and has served on the Board of Directors since 2008. He is a senior water-wastewater engineer. More recently, he led efforts to open our firm’s office in Gillette, Wyoming, and headed up efforts to acquire Holm-Blough in Cody followed by Vista West in Sheridan and Casper, and Murtagh Municipal Engineering in Billings.
In addition to his business development work, Anderson has been a longtime mentor to fellow employees as well as numerous other youth and young professionals in the Billings area.
Jill joined the Billings office’s water-wastewater group at Morrison-Maierle in 2007 and since then has progressively been involved with all stages of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. She is a Project Manager and Client Service Manager for some of Morrison-Maierle’s largest water-wastewater projects.
In addition to her engineering work, Jill has recently been an integral part of the company with her service on the 401(k) and ESOP Celebration committees and now the firm’s ESOP Committee. Outside of work, she is active in science education initiatives of all kinds and the Breakfast Exchange Club and the Billings Engineer’s Club.
