Celebrate Infrastructure Week!
At Morrison-Maierle, we are in the business of creating solutions that build better communities. In fact, that’s our core purpose and the reason that almost all of us became engineers, surveyors, planners, and scientists. That’s why we’re happy to help spread the word about the importance of infrastructure.
Infrastructure matters. It matters, in big ways and in small, to our country, our economy, our quality of life, our safety, and our communities. Roads, bridges, rails, ports, airports, pipes, the power grid, broadband… infrastructure matters to companies that manufacture and ship goods. It matters to our daily commutes and our summer vacations. Infrastructure determines if we can drink water straight from our taps and flush our toilets or do our laundry. It brings electricity in to our homes. Ultimately, infrastructure matters to every aspect of our daily lives.
This week and the activities and media campaign that surrounds it is just the beginning of the conversation that effects all of us. Morrison-Maierle is proud to be teaming up with hundreds of other groups around the country to participate in Infrastructure Week 2016. We’re raising awareness about the need to invest in infrastructure, which is the backbone of our economy, locally and nationally.
Follow #infrastructurematters this week to hear how we, and others across the country, are helping create solutions to build better infrastructure.

The very unfortunate events there awakened the entire nation to the fact that we must be aware of our buried infrastructure, that in many places piping systems are very old and require repair or replacement in order to be able to continue to deliver safe drinking water … Click here to read more.
