Jeff Heidner Joins Billings Office

Jeff Heidner Joins Billings Office Jeff Heidner recently joined Morrison-Maierle’s Billings office as a senior water-wastewater engineer. In this role, he will be plan, design, and provide construction administration. He will initially be working on the City of Billings’ 48-inch and 60-inch Sanitary Interceptor Rehabilitation Project. Furthering his work for the City of Billings, Jeff will also be working on the Walter Pump Station Generator and the Wastewater masterplan, along with a MR&I project for the Crow Tribe of Montana. Mechanical and electrical engineering design and drafting services expand with the hiring of four experienced professionals. In this role, he will help expand the Buildings Market Group in Billings and Wyoming. Jeff is a native of Laurel, Montana and a Montana State graduate. He is a certified Professional Engineer in MT, WY, SD, MN, UT, CO, AZ, OK, TX and NM. Billings-Logan International Airport Storm Drainage System Billings-Logan International Airport hired Morrison-Maierle to come up with a solution that included a multi-phased project to better control the large storm water events on the airfield, detain the large volume of water in a new pond structure, and drain the ponds through an underground pipe — at a predetermined rate — to a nearby creek drainage. Carl Anderson honored with George Warren Fuller Award Carl Anderson, P.E., Vice President and Morrison-Maierle’s Billings Operations Manager, received the American Water Works Association’s George Warren Fuller Award at the April 2016 Montana Water Environment Association/Montana Section of the American Water Works Association (MWEA/MSAWWA) Joint Conference in Bozeman. Morrison-Maierle is pleased to announce that it has acquired Billings firm Murtagh Municipal Engineering (MME). Firm principal, Pat Murtagh worked for Morrison-Maierle from 1996-1998 in the company’s Billings office. “It’s great to be back,” he said. MME started in 1999 as Montana Engineering and Administration (ME&A) and worked on water, wastewater, planning, and funding projects primarily in eastern Montana. ME&A joined with Great West in 2007 and then became MME in 2010. The Billings Engineers Club recently honored Morrison-Maierle’s Billings office with two prestigious awards. The office’s East End Industrial Area Storm Drain Project was given the 2016 Project of the Year Award and Carl Anderson, the office’s operations manager, was honored with the Distinguished Service Award Friday, Feb. 25, at the club’s annual banquet.
