Julie Thiessen

As a senior airport project manager, Julie Thiessen is passionate about helping airports leverage funding for improvement projects. She also enjoys showing how airports help communities thrive with people outside the aviation industry.

With more than 25 years of experience, Julie has garnered a large range of expertise. She continually works on airfield pavements, grant administration, project phasing, and QA reviews and specializes in translating FAA and airport nomenclature into language anyone can understand.

Outside work, she is passionate about building better communities and volunteers with her local food bank organization, Neighbor Impact. She also enjoys spending time outdoors year-round hiking, snowshoeing, or sitting around a firepit.
