Paul Heffernan

As one of only two professionals in the state of Montana with both his PE and RCDD certifications, Paul Heffernan brings an informed approach to his work as an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Engineer.

While he always prefers a proactive approach, he recognizes that tricky situations can arise during construction. He finds it rewarding to work as part of a larger team to work through challenges and ensure that his clients have the functionality they need.

Paul works on projects in a variety of sectors, including commercial and education buildings, but he most often finds himself involved with airports. Recently, he’s worked on designs for the Bozeman Yellowstone International, Missoula Montana, Great Falls International, and West Yellowstone Airports.

Paul is also passionate about giving back, and he serves on the Missoula office’s community service committee. He helps organize the Can the Griz/Cats food drive in the fall and the Habitat for Humanity workday in the summer. He also regularly participates in the office’s Meals on Wheels route and is a member of the Polar Plunge team. Outside work, he leads a trail running class for Run Wild Missoula.

Dedicated to building better communities in and outside of work, Paul says, “I especially value working on our projects that make a difference for our community.”
