Tyler Reed

As the Kalispell/Missoula Region Airports Office Leader, Tyler Reed focuses on helping airport clients keep projects moving with practical, high-quality solutions and clear guidance through funding, design, and regulatory requirements. He leads a talented team while collaborating with airport professionals across Morrison-Maierle’s locations to deliver solutions that support the long-term needs of general aviation and commercial airports.

A licensed Professional Engineer in Montana, Tyler has more than 20 years of experience specializing in airport engineering, including airfield design, pavement rehabilitation, construction of airport facilities, grading and drainage, and FAA-funded projects. His experience spans both general aviation and commercial airports across the Northwest, with projects involving runways, taxiways, aprons, terminal facilities, airport access, lighting, drainage, and construction administration.

Tyler says, “The most rewarding part of my job is working with our clients and our team to solve challenges. I enjoy helping clients keep projects moving through quality solutions and clear guidance on funding and requirements.” He values the opportunity to contribute to projects that have a direct impact on the people and communities that rely on airports.

Community involvement is also important to Tyler. Over the years, he has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, the Missoula Marathon, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the CAP Mentor Program. He currently participates as a Cattleman for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Montana in Missoula.
