Jason Mercer

Jason’s love of problem-solving aligns perfectly with Morrison-Maierle’s core purpose: creating solutions that build better communities. For over 25 years, he’s had plenty of opportunities to solve problems as a water-wastewater design engineer. He’s worked on various projects, including specialized treatment facilities, water and sewer mains, pump stations and storage tanks, roads, large master-planned communities, and storm drainage. He describes his specialty as saying ‘yes’ when asked to tackle client problems, whatever they may be.

Outside of work, he is very involved in the Helena community. He coaches sports teams, helps set up and participates in dance performances, and leads youth trips to national gatherings. He’s supported his community by filling leadership roles for non-profits and his church, where he’s the current President of the Mission and Ministry Council.

As our Water-Wastewater Market Group Leader, Jason puts his experience to work leading and mentoring early-career employee-owners. His team and clients are grateful for his thoughtful approach and collaborative spirit.
