Shawn Evilsizor

As a senior structural engineer with more than a decade of experience, Shawn Evilsizor leads the Buildings Market Group team in our Bend office. He is driven by the challenge of helping architects, contractors, and clients turn early ideas into buildings that serve communities across Central Oregon and beyond.

Shawn brings a diverse portfolio with involvement in the design of projects across K-12 and higher education, multifamily and mixed-use developments, aviation, healthcare, and more. His technical background spans steel, masonry, conventional and post-tensioned concrete, and a growing portfolio of mass timber work. Shawn also brings extensive design-build experience, including progressive design-build, traditional design-build, and CM/GC delivery methods. He understands how to leverage the insights of contractors and trade partners early in the process to create cost-effective, constructible solutions that benefit the entire project team.

Shawn believes that surrounding yourself with experts and fostering trust within cohesive, multidisciplinary teams is the key to delivering the right solution for each project’s goals, budget, and constructability. This collaborative approach helps bring to life the kind of meaningful, enduring buildings that strengthen the places where we live, learn, and work.

Active in the community, Shawn is a graduate of Leadership Bend’s Class of 2023 and was recognized by Cascade Business News as a 2023 Accomplished Under 40 for his leadership and service to Central Oregon. Outside of work, he enjoys life with his wife, an elementary school teacher, and their two sons.
