Ty Walker

As the Great Falls/Helena Regional Survey Group Office Leader, Ty Walker, PLS, brings more than 20 years of experience delivering precise surveying and remote sensing solutions for infrastructure and land development projects. As a Professional Land Surveyor and Morrison-Maierle’s lead Remote Sensing Specialist, Ty specializes in geodetic control, boundary, right-of-way, topographic, bathymetric, and construction surveying, as well as 3D laser scanning and drone-based photogrammetry and LiDAR.

Ty is passionate about finding innovative ways to solve complex surveying challenges and support infrastructure and land development projects. He says, “I enjoy delivering innovative surveying solutions for complex infrastructure and land development projects by combining cutting-edge geospatial technologies with the expertise and precision of one of the world’s oldest professions.”

Outside of work, Ty is actively involved in his community. He coaches high school baseball at East Helena High School, serves as president of the Blue-Sky Heights Water Users Association, and is vice president of the 227 Baseball Board.
