Tyler Wilkens

Tyler Wilkens, P.E., is a land development engineer based in Morrison-Maierle’s Bozeman office, bringing over a decade of experience to mountain communities and resort destinations throughout the region. He’s known for tackling site civil design with a thoughtful, boots-on-the-ground approach—crafting smart utility layouts, dialing in drainage, shaping terrain, and designing roads and driveways that work with the rugged landscapes of ski-in/ski-out environments.

From ski-in/ski-out neighborhoods to ski bridges and critical infrastructure, Tyler’s work helps turn challenging mountain terrain into places people can safely explore, enjoy, and return to year after year.

For Tyler, the best projects aren’t just seen—they’re experienced. Whether it’s a smooth mountain road, a well-placed bridge, or a run that starts right outside your door, he takes pride in creating infrastructure that will serve generations. He brings a steady, detail-minded approach to problem-solving, catching the small things that make a big difference. As he puts it, “Success comes down to one simple question: does it make a positive impact on the community? The goal is always ‘yes.’”

When he’s not at work, you’ll likely find Tyler giving back—whether volunteering with the local food bank, supporting Montana Special Olympics, or serving on his HOA board. A proud “cheesehead,” he’s happiest outside, embracing mountain sports, hopping on two wheels, or heading into the backcountry with friends and family. These days, his favorite adventures are the ones shared with his kids—introducing them to the outdoors and all the fun it has to offer.
