Carly Kittleson
The desire to work with natural waterbodies is what led Carly Kittleson to her position as a Water Resources Engineer.
“Big rivers are what made me want to be an engineer when I was a kid,” she says. “They are vital to our communities recreationally, agriculturally, economically, especially where I live in Missoula.”
With four years of experience in the industry, Carly specializes in open channel hydraulics, stormwater design, irrigation structures, and stream restoration. She also has expertise in long-range planning and grant writing for hazard mitigation projects.
Carly’s strengths lie in strategic thinking, which leads to creating adaptive, custom, and thorough solutions to meet a client’s needs. She finds it rewarding to work on our rivers, streams, and canals to gain a deeper technical understanding of hydrology and hydraulics.
“I like to think, ponder new ideas, and am always learning in this industry.”
