Brad Hammerquist Named Bozeman Market Group Leader

We are excited to announce that Brad Hammerquist has been promoted as the Bozeman Water-Wastewater Market Group Office Leader.
Brad first came to Morrison-Maierle after graduating from Montana State in 2005. After spending two years here, he moved to Alaska while his wife attended grad school and then later to Minnesota. He was thrilled at the opportunity to return to our Bozeman office in 2016 and said, “After growing up in Montana and beginning my career at Morrison-Maierle, it really felt like I was coming back home.”
He has enjoyed working on a variety of water and wastewater treatment projects while at Morrison-Maierle. He says, “These multi-disciplinary projects give me the privilege of working with employee-owners across different market groups and offices while learning about other fields of engineering. The ability to assemble talented in-house teams to help our clients achieve their goals is a big strength of Morrison-Maierle.”
He also has fond memories from his time as an inaugural member and first chair of the Employee Ownership Committee. Through that role, he had the opportunity to develop relationships with folks from across the company and help bring a new initiative to life. He says, “This experience enhanced my understanding of how our business functions and deepened my appreciation for our ESOP and ownership culture.”
When asked about a favorite memory, Brad had trouble narrowing it down. “I think of Morrison-Maierle as a generally fun place to work. The company is full of intelligent, thoughtful, and dedicated people.” He went on to say, “Engineering can be challenging and dry at times, but it is not hard to find a smiling face. Especially when folks get together to celebrate during Employee-Ownership Month, the all-company meeting, or an office BBQ.”
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and often explores the outdoors through rafting, camping, hunting, backpacking, and skiing. He is also passionate about music, art, and food.
He’s excited to grow in his new role and says, “I am looking forward to continuing to support the personal and professional growth of the Bozeman water-wastewater team through this new position. I am grateful to work with such exceptional people throughout Morrison-Maierle as we put our purpose, vision, and core values into action to serve our clients and communities.”
