Morrison-Maierle Helps Build Better Communities Through Community Support in 2024
In 2024, Morrison-Maierle helped build better communities by donating our time and money to a range of charitable causes and organizations. This supports one of our key strategic plan objectives: being community-focused and engaged.
Last year, we donated over 10% of our net operating profit through cash donations and compensated time. That equates to just over $350,000. This total comes from a combination of sources:
- Local donations selected by our individual offices.
- Company-matched donations—Morrison-Maierle matches individual employee-owner contributions up to $300/year.
- Companywide donations that support our mission of building better communities, including giving a total of $40,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project, Habitat for Humanity, and the Humane Society as part of our annual Season of Sharing campaign.
- Pro bono and donated time.
- Volunteer time off and company-sponsored volunteer efforts.

Employee-Owners Take Advantage of Volunteer Time Off (VTO)
As part of our Total Rewards program, we offer Volunteer Time Off (VTO) for our employee-owners. VTO allows employee-owners to support non-profit organizations and charities that enhance and serve the communities in which we live and work. With VTO, employee-owners can use dedicated paid time off to volunteer their time to the causes they support and care most about.

Firm Launches Community Giving Committee (CGC)
New this year was the inception of the Community Giving Committee (CGC). The primary objective of the CGC is to effectively manage and oversee a substantial portion of the company’s charitable giving initiatives to ensure that Morrison-Maierle remains engaged with the needs of the communities we serve. The CGC will seek opportunities to support local organizations, foster community partnerships, and engage employee-owners in volunteer activities. Through these efforts, the CGC aims to uphold the company’s mission of being a responsible corporate citizen and a valued community member.
