Airport Engineering Group Receives Regional Corporate Award of Excellence
The Northwest Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (NWAAAE) recognized Morrison-Maierle with its Corporate Award of Excellence at the chapter’s 47th annual conference in Seattle on September 25.
This award is given annually to a company that represents the very best in the field of aviation, according to NWAAAE. It is the second time Morrison-Maierle has received this award.
As a multi-disciplinary firm specializing in engineering, surveying, planning, and science in Montana, Wyoming, Arizona, and Washington, “Morrison-Maierle embodies the spirit of the award which is to recognize a company whose professionalism and recent contributions to the association and the airport industry have made a significant difference in fostering aviation. For more than 70 years, Morrison-Maierle has delivered quality projects and has a proven track record for beginning-to-end project success,” according to a press release from NWAAAE.
Scott Bell, Vice President and Morrison-Maierle’s Airports Market Group Leader said, “I would like to sincerely thank our clients or sponsors because this award comes from them. We are very honored and want to also thank the NWAAAE Board of Directors, everyone at Morrison-Maierle for their continued support of our Airports Market Group, but most of all our clients and the communities we serve.”
Other awards included the President’s Award of Distinction: Linda Tepper, AAE / Crater Lake-Klamath Regional Airport. The Aviation Excellence Award was presented to Mark Witsoe, AAE, CAE, Marketing and Business Development Manager for BFI‐King County International Airport. The Airport Executive of the Year Award was presented to Tony Bean, AAE, Executive Director for the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport (WA).
Founded in 1945, Morrison-Maierle has 12 offices throughout Montana, Wyoming, Washington, and Arizona. In addition to working in these states, its airport clients expand into Alaska, Oregon, and Utah.
