Doug Ardary Hired as First Health and Safety Administrator
Doug Ardary recently joined the Morrison-Maierle as our first health and safety administrator. Although he will work out of the Helena office, he will work to improve processes throughout the company. In this role, he will be developing and administering company-wide health and safety processes, training programs, and record-keeping systems. He will also provide health and safety support to operations teams and market groups.
Doug is a native of Lumber City, Pennsylvania (population 59!). He then went on to receive his B.S. in occupational safety and health at Montana Tech. He is also a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and has a certificate in executive safety management.
Prior to coming to Morrison-Maierle, Doug worked as a senior loss control specialist with the Montana Association of Counties. He has also worked as an environmental health and safety manager at GlaxoSmithKline and as a senior safety advisory engineer/environmentalist at the Idaho National Laboratory, in addition to several other safety-oriented roles.
Outside of work, Doug enjoys whitewater rafting, fishing, golfing, skiing, camping and hiking. He also serves on the Montana Tech Safety, Health, and Industrial Hygiene Program Advisory Board.
He lives in Helena with his wife of 24 years, Christina, and their dog, Bridger.
