Gary Vert, PE, CFM, has been selected as the new Helena Natural Resources Market Group Office Leader (MGOL). He has been with Morrison-Maierle since 2021.

A graduate of MSU-Bozeman in 2008 with a civil engineering degree, Gary worked at WWC out of college and received his PE in 2015.

Gary has expertise in 1D and 2D hydraulic modeling, bank stabilization design, and irrigation projects. His recent project experience at Morrison-Maierle includes working with the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT), Triple Tree Engineering, and the City of Chinook. CSKT work has been his primary project role for many months.

He says he’s “really enjoyed all the projects I’ve worked on, but a few that stand out are CSKT Jocko Area Canal Conversion Project, BTR PMR Floodplain Project, and Downer Diversion Project. All of which have been interesting, challenging, and rewarding.”

When it comes to our culture, Gary says, “I’ve never worked anywhere that invests so heavily in its people, like what I’ve experienced here at Morrison-Maierle. I look forward to continuing that for the Helena Natural Resources group, and I am excited to learn and grow in this new role.”
