Ben Berry

As a water-wastewater engineer, Ben Berry’s passion lies in helping his clients turn their ideas into reality. He strives to design projects that are easy to maintain, low-cost, and meet the owner’s individual needs.

“As engineers,” he says, “we have a hand in designing and redesigning public outdoor spaces and facilities that support everyone. Civil engineers designed the road system that we use to travel, the water treatment and pipe network that provide us with water to drink, and storm systems that protect our rivers.”

While he specializes in stormwater treatment and detention systems, he has experience in a variety of water and wastewater treatment systems. After becoming a Certified Water Right Examiner (CWRE) in Oregon, he has shifted his focus to water resources management in Central Oregon.

Ben is passionate about building better communities in and out of work and enjoys getting involved in various community endeavors. Recently, he organized the Bend office’s participation in a river cleanup organized by the Upper Deschutes Watershed Council. He volunteers with the Central Oregon Trails Alliance performing trail maintenance and with various Leadership Bend community endeavors. He’s also especially proud of the affordable housing, homeless shelter, and food pantry projects he’s worked on in the Bend area.
