Carly Kittleson
The desire to work with natural waterbodies is what led Carly Kittleson to her position as a Water Resources Engineer.
“Big rivers are what made me want to be an engineer when I was a kid,” she says. “They are vital to our communities recreationally, agriculturally, and economically, especially where I live in Missoula.”
With six years of experience in the industry, Carly specializes in open channel hydraulics, dam rehabilitation, stormwater management, and riverbank stabilization. She also brings expertise in long-range planning and grant writing for hazard mitigation projects.
Carly’s strengths lie in strategic thinking, which guides her in developing adaptive solutions tailored to a client’s needs. She brings value to projects involving rivers, streams, and reservoirs, where she can apply and expand her advanced understanding of hydrology and hydraulics to develop resilient, practical solutions.
“I like to think, ponder new ideas, and am always learning in this industry.”
