Mass Timber Projects
Our team of structural, electrical, mechanical, and fire-protection engineers have completed several projects using Mass Timber techniques. Discover ways to incorporate it into your next project. For more information, download our brochure here.
Helena Regional Airport Terminal Expansion
The design team proposed cross-laminated timber (CLT) to replace the structural function of the metal deck. The change resulted in significant reductions to the construction schedule and an aesthetically pleasing finished product.
Nez Perce Clearwater Forest Service Supervisor’s Office
The Supervisor’s Office uses a cross-laminated timber roof system supported by glulaminated-timber beams and columns to highlight a variety of wood products native to the Clearwater National Forest in this beautiful part of Idaho.
Fish, Wildlife & Parks Headquarters Remodel and Addition
The addition was constructed using cross-laminated timber (CLT) on the roof and walls and is among the first buildings in Missoula to be built using this material. The exposed CLT met the client’s desire for concealed electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment which drove much of the engineering design decisions.
