Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport Runway Projects Since 2010, the Bozeman, Montana, area has steadily grown by 16.75%, while the number of airport passengers at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) has increased by 40%, exceeding the 1.1-million mark. To accommodate growth and increased aircraft traffic, Morrison-Maierle assisted the Gallatin Airport Authority on the planning, funding, and construction of a much-needed capacity improvements that resulted in a new runway, 11-29, followed immediately by the resurfacing of the main runway, 12-30. Surveyors Provide View of Solar Eclipse Morrison-Maierle’s land surveyors treated their fellow employees to an old-fashioned, land-surveyor style show of the solar eclipse. Gunnar Getchell and his crew pulled an old survey instrument (theodolite) off the shelves that they used before GPS and more modern instruments were available. Rocky Mountain Emergency Services Training Center The Rocky Mountain Emergency Services Training Center (RMESTC) in Helena, Montana, provides some of the most realistic first responder training available in the world today. In operation since 1996, the facility and its training services continue to be refined and improved by the Helena Regional Airport Authority.
