Eric Blanksma

Eric has been with Morrison-Maierle for over 23 years and works in the Helena office as the market group office leader for Water and Wastewater. He studied Civil Engineering at MSU-Bozeman and grew up in Bozeman.

Eric has worked with a wide range of water systems, providing booster pump stations for both transmission and distribution. He has supported public water systems in Montana and other states under both public and private ownership, serving cities, towns, districts, tribes, and developments. His specialties include water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping systems, groundwater wells, chemical feed systems, effluent reuse, controls, and operations support.

One of the most rewarding parts of his work is “to help clients through planning, funding, design, permitting, construction, and operations efforts to deliver water and wastewater services to their communities,” he says.

“I understand the challenges these systems face in maintaining safe and reliable facilities every day of the year. It is my goal to help with the tools they need to meet public service needs,” he added.

Outside of work, Eric has three children, with the oldest now in college. He generally spends time at the lake in the summer and skis in the winter.
