As Morrison-Maierle Systems’ Information Security Specialist, Josh Botz takes pride in helping protect organizations from cybersecurity attacks. With a background as a contractor with the U.S. Intelligence Community, his specialty is preparing new environments for security audits to earn the “ability to operate.”

After working in a cyber risk and development (R&D) shop, Josh became interested in the difference between “checking-the-box” and “high-impact” solutions. He realizes the first is required, but the second is where he says, “the magic truly happens.”

Passionate about security both personally and professionally, Josh is always willing to talk with anyone about digital security. He says, “even if it’s just questions about a home router, I want to help people protect themselves and their families.”
