Board of Directors Names New Chair and Member
Morrison-Maierle has recently named Jill Cook as its new Board of Directors Chair and Shaun Shea to fill one of its internal director seats.
After serving three years on the board, Jill was unanimously elected by the other members to step into the chairman role. As a longtime employee-owner of the company, Jill is the Operations Manager of the Billings office. She is also a senior engineer and project manager in Morrison-Maierle’s Water-Wastewater Market Group.
She earned her civil engineering degree from the University of Wyoming and has been with Morrison-Maierle since 2007. Prior to her employment with the company, she worked for the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) for two years.
Shaun Shea was recently named to the Board of Directors as our newest internal director. In this role, Shaun joins our seven-member board to help enhance its governance and guide the company’s strategic direction.
Shaun is a Vice President at Morrison-Maierle and serves as our Airports Market Group Leader, a position he assumed in early 2025. He earned his degree in civil engineering from Montana State University and began his career with Morrison-Maierle in 2000 as an airport engineer in the Helena office.
In 2010, Shaun transferred to Missoula to establish an Airports Group. He went on to serve as Missoula’s Operations Manager in 2014 and was instrumental in opening and shaping the Bend office in 2020. During this time, he also supported the Spokane office as Regional Operations Manager.
Morrison-Maierle’s Board of Directors is comprised of five internal members and two independent directors who are not employed by the company.
