Wyatt Hatch
Development Market Group Office Leader for the Kalispell/Missoula region
Office Location: Missoula

We are excited to announce that Wyatt Hatch has been promoted as the new Development Market Group Office Leader for the Kalispell/Missoula region.

In his new role, Wyatt said his vision centers on expanding Morrison-Maierle’s presence in the region as a whole and specifically in the Flathead Valley. His focus will lie in establishing a dedicated development group to position our firm as the go-to resource for land development and site civil work. He is passionate about employee-ownership and believes that our collective success is driven by engagement, shared purpose, and leading by example.

Wyatt’s journey began in Highwood, Montana, where his passion for math and science led him to pursue a degree in civil engineering at Montana State University. After graduating in 2015, he joined our Missoula office, initially focusing on water resources and natural resources work. He later moved into land development, where he found fulfillment in seeing projects come to life within our communities.

Over the years, Wyatt has played a pivotal role in building and strengthening our development team, navigating challenges, and fostering growth. Some of his favorite projects over the last 10 years include the Missoula Public Library, Glacier Gateway Elementary School, and the West Broadway Island project.

In addition to his professional work, Wyatt has also been involved in many company-wide and office-level committees and event planning efforts, such as the Employee Ownership Committee, Annual Meeting Social Event Committee, the Missoula office’s golf scramble, Adopt-a-Kid holiday event, and several efforts to assist the Missoula Foodbank.

His leadership style is rooted in collaboration, mentorship, and a commitment to team cohesion. Wyatt emphasizes the importance of retaining talent and cultivating a supportive culture—drawing from his own experiences to ensure that every team member feels valued and empowered.

Having recently celebrated his 10-year anniversary at Morrison-Maierle, he says that being part of the company has helped him advance his career, leading to significant professional development and satisfaction.

“The past 10 years have flown by, and I am grateful for the experience I have gained. I have been privileged to grow my career and work on some great projects along the way. I look forward to continuing to work on projects that build better communities,” he said.

When he’s not at work, Wyatt likes to hunt, hike, fish, ski, and golf. He and his wife, Morgan, also spend a lot of time outdoors with their dog, Brew.
