Lewistown Runway Rehabilitation

Morrison-Maierle worked around scheduled airline service and used displace theresholds to rehabilitate Lewistown’s 8-26 runway. A $2 million project, Morrison-Maierle’s engineers designed a surface that is 7,600 feet long and 100 feet wide and ultimately came under budget by $67,000. Construction required milling off six inches of the existing 12-inch pavement and replaced two, 3-inch lifts. The runway was then remarked by Precision Markings.
