Morrison-Maierle’s Corporate Leadership Team (CLT) is the backbone of the company and its operations. From project delivery and client services to marketing, business development, human resources and information systems and technology, our team helps guide the company toward its goals and objectives.

As Morrison-Maierle’s eighth President and CEO, Scott is responsible for the overall strategic direction and leads the company in achieving its vision of making it an extraordinary place to work and the pre-eminent engineering firm in the West. Prior to his current position, he served as the company’s Chief Client Services Officer, Helena Operations Manager and Water-Wastewater Market Group Leader. Scott has managed water reclamation projects throughout the western United States, including many in Montana. A Montana State University graduate, Scott was the recipient of the American Water Works Association’s George Warren Fuller Award in 2010 and the Water Environment Federation’s Arthur Sidney Bedell Award in 2007. Always an active youth and community leader, his most recently served on the non-profit Premiere Dance Company’s Board of Directors.

Bob-Morrison_Winter-2014_002Bob Morrison, Vice President, Chief Operations Officer

As the third generation to lead the company, Bob is Morrison-Maierle’s most recent past president. Prior to his tenure as President and CEO, he served as the Chief Engineer and the Great Falls Office Manager. Bob specializes in water and wastewater engineering and has extensive experience in the project management of large projects. He and his wife, Kathy, are active supporters of Montana State University and Carroll College.

Sonya-Leckner_Winter-2014_001Sonya Leckner, Vice President, Director of Finance

Sonya oversees the Accounting and Finance divisions at Morrison-Maierle to ensure that fiscal processes and procedures meet the company’s growth initiatives. She began her career at Morrison-Maierle in 2002 as an accounting technician, working with our subsidiary, Morrison-Maierle Systems. She was promoted to Financial Manager in 2009 and Director of Finance in 2013. Sonya serves as the treasurer on the YWCA of Helena Board of Directors.

Jason-Mercer_Winter-2014_001Jason Mercer, Vice President, Chief Marketing Services Officer

Jason is focused on Morrison-Maierle’s brand by increasing the visibility of our employee-owners in the markets we serve.  He provides leadership on strategy planning, market research, and corporate communication. Jason is a professional water-wastewater engineer who started his career with the company in the Billings office in 1997. He previously served as the Tucson Office Manager. With three young daughters, he is active in supporting STEM and STEAM projects in the communities Morrison-Maierle serves to make sure we help grow the next generation of engineers, surveyors, planners, and scientists.

Ken-Salo_Winter-2014_001Ken Salo, Vice President and Chief Technical Services Officer

Ken is responsible for leading and promoting project delivery, and technical excellence by the employee-owners of Morrison-Maierle. As Chief Technical Services Officer, Ken supports our staff of 250 in their delivery of technical services including contracting, risk management, quality assurance, and our Systematic Project Delivery program. He leads our Natural Resources Market Group as part of his passion for water resources and environmental science.

Letha is focused on making Morrison-Maierle an extraordinary place to work by helping employee-owners live by the company’s Core Values.  She works closely with senior management to assist employee-owners in achieving their professional and personal growth goals. Letha began her career at Morrison-Maierle in 2006 in Human Resources as the Benefits Manager. She was promoted to the Chief Human Resource Officer in 2012. As a parent to two busy teenagers, Letha and her husband, Jon, are constantly on the go as they support them in a wide variety of activities.
