Debbie was named Morrison-Maierle’s Chair of the Board of Directors in 2019. She will serve a one-year term. She began her Morrison-Maierle career in 2002, was elected as a Vice President in 2010, and is currently the Industrial Market Group Leader. Debbie holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Gonzaga University and took post-graduate courses in Water Resource Engineering from the University of Idaho. Her engineering specialties are hydrology and hydraulics, mine process engineering, and environmental and hazardous waste reclamation. Active in her hometown of Missoula, Debbie currently serves as the Board Chair of the Missoula Economic Partnership, Vice Chair of the Missoula City County Board of Health, and the Missoula Transportation Policy Coordinating Committee.

Arian serves as the Buildings Market Group Leader at Morrison-Maierle which consists of over 46 staff consisting of five disciplines including structural, mechanical, electrical, communications/low voltage, and fire protection. He graduated from Montana State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Arian started at Morrison-Maierle in Kalispell office. After six years he transferred to Missoula in 2013. He specializes in architectural electrical design of electrical systems in commercial buildings. Arian served on the US Green Buildings Council Montana Chapter Board from 2010 to 2015 and was chair the last two years. Arian and his wife, Shanna, have a son and daughter. They enjoy spending time with family in the outdoors with their two dogs.

Ryan Jones

Ryan is a Vice President and serves as Morrison-Maierle’s Kalispell Operations Manager. The Kalispell operation consists of 22 staff spanning six market groups: Buildings, Water/Wastewater, Development, Natural Resources, Industrial, and Survey. He graduated from Montana State University in 2004 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and has been with Morrison-Maierle since 2009. A member of the Water/Wastewater Group, Ryan’s primary focus and expertise is in project management and construction administration. He has successfully managed large construction projects throughout northwestern Montana. He serves as a board member for Montana West Economic Development. Ryan and his wife Jaime have one daughter and enjoy spending time on the river at their family cabin.

Jill Cook

Jill is a Vice President and the current Operations Manager for the Billings Office, which includes approximately 23 staff spanning four Market Groups. She graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1999 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Jill joined Morrison-Maierle in 2007 and is a member of the Water/Wastewater Market Group. She acts as a client service manager and project manager for large design and construction projects in the Billings area from planning through design and construction. She is currently the Chair of the ESOP Committee. Jill has served as the President of MT ASCE, Eastern Branch, and the Billings Engineers Club. She is an active volunteer in the community, involved in fundraising and events for the Breakfast Exchange Club and TrailNet. She has two adult children, and enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, and being active outside with friends and family.

Jon Carlson

Jon comes to Morrison-Maierle as its first independent Director. He is CEO of Braun Intertec Corporation, a Minneapolis-based firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, building envelope consulting, and materials and testing services.

Kurt Keith Kurt Keith

Kurt is the firm’s Chief Client Services Officer. He has been with Morrison-Maierle since 1993, serving previously as a structural engineer and the firm’s Buildings Market Group Leader. A vice president since 2008 and senior vice president since 2019, Kurt received his B.S. in engineering science from Montana Tech and M.S. in engineering with a civil-structural emphasis from Purdue University. He lives in Bozeman with his wife Anne. They have two daughters, Katie and Ginny, who are both working on post-graduate degrees in the computer science and medical fields respectively.

 Julie ShiffletJulie Shiflett

Julie comes to the Board of Directors with a wide variety of experience in both the public and private sectors. As an independent Director, she has expertise in finance, capital markets, human resources, information technology, and taxation. As a founding partner of Northwest CFO, LLC, she assists emerging and mid-market companies so they may increase cash flow, profitability, sales, and company value. She also sits on the Board of Directors for Northwest Farm Credit Services, Keller Associates, and American Chemet Corporation and Subsidiaries.
